Ban the bottle. Breast is best. These are the slogans that have set out to drown the media campaigns that
sing 'brand milk baby is a bonny baby'. What was devised as a food formula for sick children has grown into a multi million
dollar industry producing instant milk for healthy children of healthy mothers, substituting breast milk. Apart from the
infections the bottle spreads, there are nutritional and emotional aspects, which a bottle can never serve.
Advertising hype and marketing strategies have misinformed public and this week brings to attention the value of breast milk.
